The Perth Market Authority engaged Think DONE in January 2014 to provide a Retail Consultancy Service for the Sunday Community Market at Market City. Canning Vale. This market is the largest weekend market in Perth with over 350 stallholders and in excess of 4500 patrons each week. The Think DONE service included investigation, recommendations and a report on the efficiencies and improvement options of the existing business. The business is unique and operates outside of core business hours and therefore required an innovative approach.
Linda Steel led the project and worked closely with Steve Hansen to deliver the final report. They communicated regularly throughout the process and offered a comprehensive framework for how they would approach the task and deliver the final report. They took a systematic approach to conduct a through investigation and relevant research whilst working closely with all key stakeholders. We specified that we wanted a hands-on research method which involved being on site early on Sunday mornings, which they did on numerous occasions to meet our requirements.
The final Recommendation Report and presentation was insightful, well structured and the improvements and efficiencies recommended have been beneficial to the PMA and the Sunday Market.
Think DONE offered a diligent approach and well-considered service which represented good value for money. I would not hesitate to recommend their service as Retail Consultants.
