The importance of the words “thank you”

Thank you for your support.
Thank you for doing your job so well.
Thank you for looking after me.
Thank you for completing the project.

Such simple and powerful words.  About the best words you could give anyone.
The number one factor that leads to employee satisfaction is achievement.  The second factor is recognition.  How about giving your team some recognition? If they do something well, say thank you.

And here is a thank you from one of our clients.

To run a marathon you need to take the first step and build up to 42K.  Chances are you’ll need a coach, a training schedule and goals. Likewise franchising a business should not be undertaken WITHOUT consulting with Linda at Think DONE!
Linda’s passion for helping me to understand what it is going to take to franchise my business is mind blowing.  Her training skills, methods and delivery are fun!! Materials are understandable and clear.  Thank you Linda very much, it was awesome!

The decent wage you pay yourself should be commensurate with the amount of time and effort you put into the business.  If you work 80 hours a week, then your “decent” wage should at least pay you more per hour than your team are getting.

We see too many business owners saying that it is OK for them to not take a wage.  Sure it is in the early days… but not forever.
Work on tracking your net profit every week.  You deserve to be paid well.
